We're back! ...and this time we brought friends

Many of you know Malaty & I (Rik) from our first bar in University Place, and know the circumstances behind Malaty's failing health related to her cancer that forced us to sell the bar.
But a new treatment has stabilized her cancer and brought new hope ...plus Malaty realized she's not ready for retirement. She doesn't want cancer to dictate her life, and wants to move forward living life her way.
She misses working, misses the bar/restaurant industry, misses you guys!

But we realized we couldn't do it alone this time, and needed someone to ease the demands of being a small bar owner. In particular, a partner with like-minded vision and values.
Thankfully, we met and became friends with Bill & Michelle Baerg through our first bar.
The bar comes at a perfect time for Michelle as she had been contemplating a career change. The bar offers her a new career she feels passionate about, and utilizes her 30+ years experience in business, retail, and customer service. ...including as a small business owner in Fircrest, where she & Bill live and have raised their family.

Over the years Bill & Michelle often found themselves enjoying a night out in a bar, and playfully pondered the idea of owning their own place.
So as fate would have it, we all became friends...

We have a lot of work ahead building out the bar, but we'll be posting regular updates on our progress, menu ideas, and occasional pop-up tasting events for y'all to try our food!
